2024 theme bible verse

Alberta March for Life 2024

Our Theme is “We Have A Dream:Protect All Life!” based on 1 Corinthians 13:7

“Love Always Protects, Always Trusts, Always Hopes, And Always Perseveres”

Vulnerability speaks of a need.  A need for help, a need for friendship, a need for hope.  Vulnerability calls for a response.  Abortion and Euthanasia react to that call with death. Love responds to that call with life.  Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.

God, the author of life, and sustainer of the universe is Love.  God calls us to love and sacrifice now for the vulnerable.  God calls us to love the vulnerable back to paths that lead to life.  1 Corinthians 13:7 is an eternal call to persevere and trust and hope in order to protect the dignity of each human person.

On Thursday, May 9th join thousands of students, families, and Canadians from all walks of life as we gather at the Legislature in Edmonton for the 2024 Alberta March for Life.  Together let us remind our elected officials to always protect the vulnerable.

…child in the womb who needs breath…
…mother with an unexpected pregnancy who needs care…
…person living with a disability or mental illness who needs friendship…
…senior who needs care … not killing.

“Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres” reminds us of our responsibility to love and protect each soul created and valued by God.
